Offices Open Again
H&H Land & Estates opens all offices to get back to business as ‘usual’
Following the lifting of the lock down on property transactions, which froze the housing market for several weeks, and one-to-one visits and meetings, H&H Land & Estates, is pleased to be opening all its offices for viewings and valuations plus property and business advice from June 1st 2020.
This enables the property and rural land agency to return to offering its full range of professional services to property owners and occupiers covering not only farms and land but also development, commercial, leisure and residential interests. This wide-ranging portfolio encompasses property sales and purchases, lettings, estate management, valuations, planning and development, compulsory purchase and compensation, common land and conservation & environment, and forestry.
The company confirmed that all offices including Carlisle, Kendal, Durham, Penrith, Keswick, Cockermouth and Grange-over-Sands will open to customers by prior appointment, but under strict Government and Internal Guidelines for COVID-19. This means that the 2m social distance rule and other measures will apply to ensure the safety of staff and clients at all times.
Throughout the pandemic, the team has maintained business, as much as possible, but like many other companies has been home-working. Managing Director, Colin Tomlinson is therefore thrilled to finally be getting back to face-to-face contact with clients, albeit socially distanced and following guidelines!
“We have been very much open and supporting our clients virtually throughout this extremely challenging time, however, we understand there is nothing like face-to-face contact. As such, we have conducted a thorough risk assessment and can confirm that we have put measures in place to open all our doors again for business.
“Yes it will be different, yes it may feel strange at first, but we want to assure anyone stepping into any of our agencies, that they can expect the safest environment to conduct business and we will provide clear guidance on how this will be done.”
Health and safety signage will be clearly displayed in each office to ensure that safe distances are observed as well as hygiene processes to minimise contamination. These will all be explained to anyone making an appointment so that they understand the procedures in place. Colin adds:
“Under these stringent guidelines, property and business discussions can return to a level of normal, although it may be a while until the customary business handshake can be included!”
H&H Land & Estates prides itself on the breadth of services it offers to a wide range of clients. The specialist knowledge of the agency is brought together not just through its portfolio of residential property services covering sales, acquisitions and lettings, but also through its specialist land agency, where a supporting team of rural chartered surveyors helps to provide a highly specialised property and business business service.
