AMC Taking Care of Uncertainty - Take some time to review of your business finances and how AMC’s USPs can help
The impending regression of subsidy income for English farmers and uncertainty regarding any replacement schemes, means that some farming businesses may need to consider their options for redressing the balance of income and outgoings.
Take some time to review of your business finances and how AMC’s USPs can help to ensure that future business development is not hindered by a tightening of cash flow. AMC offer:-
Loan terms of up to 30 years
Spreading capital repayment over a longer period can significantly reduce the annual cost of debt servicing and, on a variable rate, additional capital can be repaid, at any time, without incurring fees.
Interest only loans
These can allow time-specific opportunities (e.g. buying neighbouring land) to be more comfortably affordable – while existing debts are also being serviced
Fixed rates* for up to 30 years
Fixed rates are rising but (at time of writing) many could fix, for 30 years, at circa 4% -allowing the current low cost of borrowing to be locked-in for the long term.
A commitment for the term of the loan
Many lenders now conduct a periodic review of the decision to lend and terms on which funds are made available. AMC offer a commitment for the term of the loan (subject to AMC credit criteria and obligations to AMC continuing to be met). This can provide welcome certainty over the availability and cost of finance.
*There is always a possibility that interest rates may go down leaving a fixed rate loan at a higher level compared to a variable rate loan. However, if interest rates rise, a fixed rate loan will remain at the same rate.
