Location: South Lakes

We are looking to appoint a practical and enthusiastic individual to join our busy estate agency and lettings team working out of our Staveley office.

The successful applicant will be expected to work on behalf of both our estate and land agency departments and the role will involve:

  • Carrying out accompanied viewings
  • Promoting the benefits of the property
  • Completing property check in and check out reports

A full, clean driving licence is essential. The successful candidate should be of smart appearance, confident, able to navigate their way around the area, possess good organisational and time management skills, be competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook and have excellent communication skills .

Local area knowledge and previous experience of property management or maintenance would be an advantage but not essential

There are no guaranteed hours for this role and it is expected that the some of the viewings will be undertaken in the evenings and at weekends.

Overall Job Purpose:

To carry out viewings and inspections of property on behalf of clients, produce accurate property reports and liaise with customers, clients and staff.

Job Description

Primary Accountabilities

  1. To accompany prospective buyers or tenants to view properties.
  2. To promote the benefits of the property.
  3. To feedback to sales and lettings staff all comments from potential buyers/tenants in verbal and electronic form.
  4. To visit let properties on a regular basis to monitor and report on required maintenance and ensure compliance with tenancy terms.
  5. Carry out property inspections, complete written reports to include photographic record of condition and monitor property against inventories.
  6. To carry out duties in accordance with industry regulation and legislation.
  7. To act within Company guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.

Secondary Accountabilities

  1. To maintain current knowledge with regard to Health & Safety and in particular to legislation relevant to the company in order to advise colleagues or seek advice accordingly.
  2. Operational ad hoc duties.
