Have used this company twice having had excellent service from a member of their staff who previously worked for another company. The offices in Grange-over-Sands and Penrith were both brilliant at marketing my 2 properties , successfully sold. In particular the office in Penrith I felt negotiated really well on my behalf and demonstrated flexibility enabling the property to remain available for sale at a time other agents refused , resulting in a sale. I have run a property business for 30 years buying and selling so can recognise good service when I see it. Recently I have been looking to buy in Carlisle and have had frequent contact with that office and found them very communicative and keen to help me.

Couldn’t recommend Paul and his girls that work in the office Emma and Sian any more. Very helpful and kept regular contact with updates and chasing stuff up for me all the time . Excellent service .

It took 6 1/2 months from accepting on offer on our property to actually moving. Sharon from H&H was chasing up and down the chain on a weekly basis to keep us informed ‐ even if it was only to say there was no movement. During what became at times a very stressful period, Sharon kept us sane. We can't thank her enough.

We recently sold our property and couldn’t fault the service we received from H&H Land and Estates Cockermouth, right through from the initial valuation to completion. Throughout the whole process, they were always supportive and really helped speed up the sales process. All the staff were easy to deal with, friendly, professional and very prompt at dealing with any queries. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to use them again.

H&H couldn’t have done more to help with the sale of our property. When information was not forthcoming from the solicitors, H&H made sure they contacted all parties and that we were fully informed at all times. Key dates would have been missed without H&H being proactive!

We bought a house marketed by H&H. Viewings were easy to arrange and H&H had no problem with us viewing again to measure up etc. James Harrison was helpful and informative and proved to be better at communicating with us than the estate agent firm we had chosen to sell with. We’ll be coming to H&H if we decide to sell in the future.

It’s still a fact unfortunately that, in general, estate agents get a ‘bad press’. This report hopefully will correct the above assumption. Maybe not for the umbrella business of all agents… is there a name for a collection of estate agents? We have very recently exchanged with an agreed completion date on a property we’re buying and the home we’re selling. Job done. If only it had been that quick and simple. It has taken just over a year… yes a year to arrive at this point. However, there is a huge and positive advantage which has tracked our rather miserable journey all the way through. H&H Landestates agents Penrith. They have been absolutely brilliant, fantastic, superb,, marvelous and outstanding. Even these words cannot convey our thanks and gratitude for the service and commitment the team consistently applied on our behalf. Our journey was far from straight forward and probably unique and required them to adjust, remain continually flexible and find ways to ‘think outside the box’ to overcome the very many tall hurdles and massive disappointments we met along the way. None of which where the fault of the team. The stress, strain, frustration and ceaseless anxiety suffered daily was also felt by the team at the Penrith office. This did not detract them from professionally, but aggressively pursuing methods to solve each issue that arose. Of which there were many. They simply made us feel as though we were their only client and were always there for us with support, ideas and options. We got through this long tedious and difficult process only because of their daily and persistent endeavours. Even these comments can’t fully describe their commitment and good humour throughout. Thoroughly recommend anyone requiring an agent to get in touch with them. A massive thank you to the team at H&H Landestates, Penrith, Sarah, Grace, Sadie and Andrew.

I have found all the staff very professional, prompt and extremely approachable. During a difficult time, whilst selling several properties where there were a few hiccups, the staff saw me through the whole process and were always available and extremely supportive. The service provided was always excellent.

My experience with H & H lettings has been excellent, Sarah the lettings manager is very professional, while still being very friendly & approachable, answering all questions, very patient if we asked what were probably unnecessary questions & looking to ensure that we get tenants that will fit in with what we want. While checking the house out between tenants & cutting the grass we met Justin who does viewings & he was brilliant. He is very friendly, while being on the ball at the same time, asking what we would be looking for in a tenement, so that as he showed people round he would be able to assess who were the most suitable people for us, passing that information on to Sarah & her team.

The team at H&H Penrith have been complete diamonds. They worked tirelessly to get our sale to completion. From the first property appraisal meeting to post sake messaging the team have been friendly and professional. A special mention has to be given to Sarah Parsons who has been exceptional at her job. Outstanding team.

We’ve just completed a house purchase through H&H Carlisle, despite living five hours away, and Sian Wilson was an absolute star from start to finish. The vendors were extremely awkward, yet Sian tirelessly stepped in, mediated, and kept the process moving when it could easily have fallen apart. Her friendliness, patience, and commitment were exceptional. She truly went over and above. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
